Con Edison engaged us to bring their Sustainability Report up to modern design and functionality standards. We needed to fully rethink the design, come up with a new site architecture for the 100-page website, create a sophisticated print mechanism, and implement a multitude of interactive charts and graphs.

PROCESS

As with all our work, we created a thorough and reliable process flow, and went through it step-by-step, confirming that our results would not only meet, but exceed the Con Edison team’s expectations.

DEFINING CHALLENGES

Three teams within Con Edison came together to create the report. Dated technologies used within the company outlined certain limitations. We worked with each one of these teams side by side to deliver a sensible project plan.

DESIGN & PROTOTYPING

After presenting a variety of designs, we created functioning prototypes to test on Con Edison's servers certifying all functionalities would work as envisioned before building the full report.

RESPONSIVE DEVELOPMENT

Once we confirmed that our prototypes functioned perfectly on dated servers and browsers, we went ahead and created a fully responsive, infographic-rich website that displayed seamlessly across all mobile devices.

UPGRADES & OPTIMIZATION

We have been working on the Con Edison report for three years, and each year the report improves. Optimizing loading speeds and animations, creating new interactive infographics and customized print mechanisms, we continually improve the report for the best possible performance.

Pie In The Sky Fundraising Platform
